About Surah Alfatihah

بِسْــــــــــــــــمِ اﷲِالرَّحْمَنِ اارَّحِيم

Surah Al-Fatiha (Arabic: الفاتح, al-Fatiha, "Opening") is the first surah in the Qur'an. Surah was revealed in Mecca and consists of 7 verses. Al-Fatiha is the first surah revealed to complete the surah-surah that exist in the Qur'an. Surah Al-Fatihah is called (Opening), because it is open and the beginning chapters of the Quran. Named Ummul Quran (Al-Quran parent / أم القرءان) or the Mother of the Book (al-Kitab parent / أم الكتاب) because she is the mother of all the contents of the Quran. Similarly Named As Sab'ul matsaany (seven repetitive / السبع المثاني) because the number seven verse and read repeatedly in prayer.
