Chemical elements

An element is a chemical substance that is made up of a particular kind of atoms and hence cannot be broken down or transformed by a chemical reaction into a different element, though it can be transmutated into another element through a nuclear reaction. This is so, because all of the atoms in a sample of an element have the same number of protons, though they may be different isotopes, with differing numbers of neutrons.

As of 2012, there are 118 known elements, about 80 of which are stable – that is, they do not change by radioactive decay into other elements. Some elements can occur as more than a single chemical substance (allotropes). For instance, oxygen exists as both diatomic oxygen (O2) and ozone (O3). The majority of

Definition of chemical

Chemical substances (also called pure substances) may well be defined as "any material with a definite chemical composition" in an introductory general chemistry textbook. According to this definition a chemical substance can either be a pure chemical element or a pure chemical compound. But, there are exceptions to this definition; a pure substance can also be defined as a form of matter that has both definite composition and distinct properties. The chemical substance index published by CAS also includes several alloys of uncertain composition. Non-stoichiometric compounds are a special case (in inorganic chemistry) that violates the law of constant composition, and for them, it is sometimes difficult to draw the line between a

Chemical substance

In chemistry, a chemical substance is a form of matter that has constant chemical composition and characteristic properties. It cannot be separated into components by physical separation methods, i.e. without breaking chemical bonds. It can be solid, liquid or gas.

Chemical substances are often called 'pure' to set them apart from mixtures. A common example of a chemical substance is pure water; it has the same properties and the same ratio of hydrogen to oxygen

Tips Eliminate Blackheads

Problems blackheads are common to everyone, especially teens. Generally arising blackheads on the face or in the nose. According to experts, blackheads are the early stages of acne before the bacteria get into your pores and cause inflammation of the skin (For a full discussion of blackheads, causes blackheads remove blackheads and other tips read here).

This article will discuss about How to Remove Blackheads are easy, fast, and naturally. Only use honey, stubborn blackheads on the face or your nose will disappear instantly. How?

Reactions with oxygen (combustion reaction)

All alkanes react with oxygen in a combustion reaction, although they become increasingly difficult to ignite as the number of carbon atoms increases. The general equation for complete combustion is:
CnH2n+2 + (1.5n+0.5)O2 → (n+1)H2O + nCO2
In the absence of sufficient oxygen, carbon monoxide or even soot can be formed, as shown below:
CnH(2n+2) + (n+0.5)O2 → (n+1)H2O + nCO
CnH(2n+2) + (0.5n+0.5)O2 → (n+1)H2O + nC

For example methane:

Boiling point

Alkanes experience inter-molecular van der Waals forces. Stronger inter-molecular van der Waals forces give rise to greater boiling points of alkanes.
There are two determinants for the strength of the van der Waals forces:
  • the number of electrons surrounding the molecule, which increases with the alkane's molecular weight
  • the surface area of the molecule
Under standard conditions, from CH4 to C4H10 alkanes are gaseous; from C5H12 to C17H36 they are liquids; and after C18H38 they are solids. As the boiling point of alkanes is primarily determined by weight, it should not be a surprise that the boiling point has almost a linear relationship with the size (molecular weight) of the molecule. As a rule of thumb, the boiling point rises 20–30 °C for each carbon added to the chain; this rule applies to other homologous series.

Branched alkanes

Simple branched alkanes often have a common name using a prefix to distinguish them from linear alkanes, for example n-pentane, isopentane, and neopentane.
IUPAC naming conventions can be used to produce a systematic name.
The key steps in the naming of more complicated branched alkanes are as follows:
  • Identify the longest continuous chain of carbon atoms
  • Name this longest root chain using standard naming rules
  • Name each side chain by changing the suffix of the name of the alkane from "-ane" to "-yl"
  • Number the root chain so that sum of the numbers assigned to each side group will be as low as possible

Balerang Or Sulfur Cycle

Sulfur only in inorganic sulfur, sulfur will be reduced menjdi sulfide by bacteria in the form of sulfur dioxide or hydrogen sulfide form. Hydrogen Sulfide can destroy living things that are waters that would eventually result in dead organic matter due to decomposition. Plants can also absorb sulfur in the form of sulfate (SO4).

Subjunctives With Wish/If Only

1. Subjunctive With Wish
Wist can be used with several different tenses :
      wist + past simple,wist + past perfect,and wist + would + infinitive

a.)  Wist + Past Simple
This expresses an unrealistic desire for the present situation to be different since there is very little
       chance of the change occurring
       => Example
  • I wish I lived in Australia
  • I wish I had wighs
b.) Wist + Past Perfect
This expresses a desire that an action or event in the past had been different.
        => Example

Business Opportunity

There are many misconceptions about the notion that the business opportunity, because all this business opportunity is defined as a business opportunity that promises and who will benefit as much as possible, it is you who hope for his business.

That sense of business opportunity, the essence is the principle of utility. All conditions antecedent to offer you, is bidding against a business activity that you're in. For content and of course who can provide exceptional benefits to you.

By the record, if the business opportunity that is actually in use and in containers in such a way so that it can provide benefits that is expected.

So what if it was the other way. By using reverse logic. That not all the business opportunities that you think is right, can really fit with what you expect.

Usage Used to and Be used to

Functions Used to

Used to what we use here is not a form of Verbs 2 of Use, but a whole word that means "usually". In English usage the word adorn many conversations. "Used to do" different "to be used to doing" and "to get used to doing".
Used to do

We use "used to" for something that happened regularly in the past but it did not happen a long time.

I used to smoke a packet a day but I stopped two years ago.
(I used to smoke a pack a day, but I've stopped 2 years ago)
Tom used to greet us but when he became a boss, he has never done it anymore.
(Tom usually greet us but when he became a boss, he never greeted us again)
I used to drive to work.
(Before I usually drive to work)

ADVERBS - FUNCTION

Hai..Now we will study english..so check it out

Adverbs modify, or tell us more about other words, usually verbs:

Examples

  • The bus moved slowly.
  • The bears ate greedily.
Sometimes they tell us more about adjectives:

Examples

  • You look absolutely fabulous!

Scientific Method

Hello bloger.. i want to share about the scientific Method that i learned since  i was X class

Understanding the Scientific MethodScientific method or scientific process is a process for obtaining scientific knowledge systematically based on physical evidence. Scientists make observations and form hypotheses in an attempt to explain natural phenomena. Predictions are made based on the hypothesis was tested by conducting experiments. If a hypothesis passes the test many times, this hypothesis may be a scientific theory.CharacterizationThe scientific method relies on a careful characterization of the subject of an investigation. In the process of characterization, scientists identified the relevant key held by the subject under study. Furthermore, this process can also involve the determination (definition) and observation; observation is often requires the measurement and / or calculations carefully. Measurement process can be done in a controlled place, such as a laboratory, or made to objects that can not be accessed or manipulated as stars or human populations. Measurement process often require specialized scientific instruments such as thermometers, spectroscope, or voltmeters, and the progress of a scientific field is usually closely associated with the discovery of such

Phosphorus cycle

Phosphorus is one of the elements that are important in life because all living things need phosphorus in the form of ATP (Adenosine Tri Phosphate), which is useful for sumbr energy metabolism in cells. Phosphorus ions form the ion fosfst or (PO43-), ion is present in the rocks. As a result of erosion and weathering of phosphate will likely carry over into the river even to the sea that forms sediments. Sediments contain phosphates could rise to the surface due to the shearing motion of the base of the earth. Plants take fospat are still a solution that is in the soil.

Layer OSI

OSI (Open Systems Interconnection) is a standard description or "reference model" for how messages should be transmitted between any two points in a telecommunication network. Its purpose is to guide product implementors so that their products will consistently work with other products. The reference model defines seven layers of functions that take place at each end of a communication. Although OSI is not always strictly adhered to in terms of keeping related functions together in a well-defined layer, many if not most products involved in telecommunication make an attempt to describe themselves in relation to the OSI model. It is also valuable as a single reference view of communication that furnishes everyone a common ground for education and discussion.

Water Recycling

Recycled water is circulating that never stops from the water on earth Diman able to move water from the mainland, and then into the air and then kedaratan again, and was able to stored water bottom surface with 3 phases, namely in the form of liquid water, solid ice form, and gas in the form of air.
Water vapor present in the atmosphere, water vapor from the sea water and the water that evaporates as a result dratan terkenanya heat coming from the sun. But in general, the water vapor contained in diatmosfir just vaporized seawater, because the vast ocean reaches ¾ of the earth surface. Terkondensasinya water vapor in the atmosphere will change into clouds, clouds that eventually it will turn into rain, rain that came down in the earth will go into the soil, groundwater and eventually it will form a surface groundwater groundwater.

Internet

With the internet we are able to access the latest news, increase knowledge, communicate with distant friends there, get a lot of friends through social media such as facebook and many more benefits from the internet. But what exactly is the internet. We used to use it every day, but not all of us understand what the internet is, and how to work the internet. For those of you who want to know, please read below.

Is Understanding the Internet? Internet itself is derived from the word-networking interconnection, constitute the entire global system of interconnected computer networks that use the standard Internet Protocol Suite (TCP / IP) to serve billions of users worldwide. When the Internet (the letter 'I' is great) is a public computer

Ecosystem : Food Chain and Net-Net Food

Only the green plants in the ecosystem that is able to produce its own food through photosynthesis with the help of water, carbon dioxide, chlorophyll and sunlight. What about other living things? Other living things obtain food through the process of interaction with other living beings through specific interaction patterns as described in the previous material. To recall the pattern of interactions in the ecosystem can be seen here. This is because living beings as social beings can not live without the role of other living beings. One form of interaction between living things is the process by eating and being eaten when arranged in a sequence that will form a food chain. Well, this time we will learn about the food chain, food web.

a. Food Chain

The food chain is the event of eating and being eaten between living things in a certain order. In the food chain there are living beings who act as producers, consumers, and decomposers. Here is an example of a food chain.

Majas Metaphor

Majas metaphor similar to the figure of speech imagery. But the difference between metaphor and figure of speech figure of speech figure of speech metaphor is the metaphor does not use the word - words: like, like, like, like, like, like, is like, such as, etc.. Majas metaphor is a figure of speech that the comparison is done implicitly between 2 different things. Some linguists claim that metaphor is a figure of speech figure of speech comparisons carried out directly because it does not use the word comparison.

Majas metaphor is one part of the comparative figure of speech. The special feature of this metaphor is a figure of speech dai not find konungsi or conjunctions in sentences - sentences. It deals with the idea that metaphor is a figure of speech figure of speech direct comparison. - phrases metaphorical figure of speech is a lot we meet on literary texts such as poems, poetry, etc.

Here are some examples of figure of speech metaphor:

You are the light that always shone mentariku day - my day

King of the jungle roars loudly as a sign that he is the ruler of the forest

Thou hast reigned in my heart since the first time I saw your face

Flowers nation has fallen while defending our beloved country

Ecosystem

- Ecosystem
An ecosystem is a system formed by ecological interrelationships between living things with their environment.
- The concept of Ecosystem
Population: a group of species of living things at the same time and place.
Community: set of populations of plants and animals that live together in the same environment as well.
Habitation: a creature dwelling
